None of this would be possible without striving to be an employer of choice, where our colleagues are proud to represent our business.Role DescriptionJob PurposePivotal role within Supply Chain, evaluating the Demand Plan for Site FG to deliver a production plan, by assessing capacity, highlighting issues and identifying opportunities to balance customer demand and Long Sutton's supply in the medium- and the short-term.Re-evaluate service levels daily - proactively amending production schedules to react to demand and sales forecasts so as to optimise customer service and operational costs.
With regard to the production plan, ensure timely delivery of an accurate supply plan for raw materials and packaging scheduling.Principal Responsibilities Planning of production lines to maintain accurate four week schedule; Planning of seasonal production in line with crop availability and customer requirements; Maintain customer service for the factory at 99.5% or above; Maintain finished goods stocks to agreed site budgets; Provide accurate and timely information to the material scheduling team; Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (other planners, material schedulers, production personnel); Responsible at all times for ensuring optimum customer service in terms of quantity and timeliness; Has authority to change production plan at any time (With the support of on-call managers during 'out of hours' where appropriate); Effective management of redundant stocks.
To maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.
