Major Recruitment are currently seeking an experience Production Manager with cable management knowledge.
The role of a Production Manager is to have a full understanding of roll forming and its associated processes for theconstruction industry and have a full understanding of the Company's manufacturing systems.
You will be required to communicate and work with other departments including technical, sales, transport, quality and health and safety.Person Spcification Full understanding of our manufacturing systems and be capable of operating in a 'Kanban & just in time' environment Excellent managerial skillsBe well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professionalComputer literateAttention to detail; accuracy is paramountResponsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team Good timekeeping and attendanceBe consistent with workload and work to tight deadlinesBe flexible with tasks/duties so that adequate cover is available if ever requiredBe able to communicate at all levels and have a "can do" attitude Role & Responsibilities Organise and manage all aspects of productionUnderstand the needs of customers and adjust production to suitEnsure Company health and safety requirements are complied with and improvedEnsure Company personnel requirements are achievedEnsure continuous improvement and all production KPIs are maintained and improvedEnsure working hours match production requirementsEnsure tooling requirements are maintained and achievedAssist with new product and process developmentEnsure maintenance requirements for plant and equipment are achieved and attend technical / maintenance meetingsCommunicate and work with the Production Director and other departments as required.
