Job Title : Production Assistant Location : Coventry Pay: £23,200 Position Overview : My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join their team.
In this role, the individual will support the production process by assisting with various tasks on the shop floor, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
They will work closely with the production team to maintain quality standards, meet production targets, and contribute to a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities : Assist with the setup and operation of production machinery and equipment.
Prepare materials and components for production, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor production processes, performing quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
Support the assembly and packaging of finished products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Assist with inventory management, including stock counting and material replenishment.
Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements : Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
