Job Specification Job Title: Production Administrator Reports to: Lead Projects ManagerLocation: Limavady Job PurposeWorking within a busy engineering company you will perform administrative duties associated with the production schedule, ensuring it is updated and any changes are communicated to the relevant teams.
You will assist with ensuring factory equipment and tools are maintained and paperwork is collated. Duties:Track progress of production and maintain up to date records to meet targets within the delivery scheduleManage schedules of production priorities and distribute to Team LeadersReview production status alongside Team Leaders and develop reports for weekly production meetingsAttend production meetings with senior managementLiaise with project managers and stores team to ensure stock levels can facilitate the production scheduleOrder consumables and materials as needed for a busy factoryCommunicate with several teams providing them with accurate information on production statusMonitor and organise the maintenance of equipment and tools including paperworkTrack and consolidate factory paperwork to ensure product traceability in the systemLiaise with the Logistic Co-Ordinator and assist with administration tasks as requiredIdentify opportunities for improvements in the factory processes and practices Essential CriteriaGCSE English (C or above)GCSE Maths (C or above)Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar roleA full current driving licence and access to a carProficient in MS Applications: Excel, Word, OutlookAbility to work locally in our Limavady Office Personal Specification Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a busy work environment and adapt to changing priorities Desirable CriteriaExperience in a manufacturing/engineering environment This is the specification of the job as it is presently constituted.
