Job Title Product Manager (Collaborations, Energy) Location Milton Keynes Reporting to Sr. Category Manager Job Description The role of the Product Manager (Collaborations, Energy) is to be the main point of contact (internally and externally) as it relates to all day-to-day facets associated with the management of Collaborative and Energy projects at New Era.
This role will be key in identifying and maintaining new/ existing partnerships aligned with New Era's deep roots in Music, Streetwear, Culture, and Community.
Responsibilities: Manages day to day communication/ relationship with all collaborative partnerships both in EMEA and via our Global teams.
Main point of contact between collaborator and all internal key players such as sales, sourcing, operations, production, marketing and customer relations ensuring all teams are up to date for seamless product launches Ensures product development launch details of all projects are fluid while critical paths are maintained/ updated Works to company objectives in terms of price positioning, margin and financial targets on all products, while reporting frequently on individual project gross margins.
Are clear on the product strategy and have clearly defined objectives in all aspect of samples management, materials creation, pricing, tracking and license approvals.
Manages/ Organizes in person/ remote meetings per account to ensure upfront visibility and feedback opportunity on product launches Frequent Trend research on both streetwear and high fashion brands (not limited to) to continually identify new opportunities and inform trends to the wider headwear team Build a clearly defined annual product roadmap ensuring full visibility is available on request by Sr Category Manager/ All relevant teams Participation and co-ordination of Internal Sales/Product launches presenting collections to EMEA Sales Team ensuring they have a full understanding of our programs and sales tools Liaise with Global New Era Teams to curate/ launch energy and lifestyle collections for our top tier distribution based off EMEA's segmentation strategy To work with Licensors, as well as our internal legal teams to ensure our brand/partnerships values are respected in every product and that products are fully approved for market Knowledge and Experience Product Management/Merchandising experience within the Sportswear and streetwear industry Excel/PowerPoint literate to intermediate/advanced level Strong planning skills / ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to implement and communicate procedures Strong communication / presentation skills/ Ability to maintain/cultivate relationships Strong comprehension of streetwear culture, competitive set and trends in both fashion and music Highly organised, able to work within a structured environment Ability to communicate with internal and external partners of all levels Ability to use initiative and make appropriate decisions Qualifications and Achievements Business, Merchandising or Fashion related University degree Minimum of 5 years' experience in an equivalent Product Management role Product development or Design experience is a plus Additional Information: International Travel for Market visits and Sales meetings (if applicable) Launch/ Event Attendance associated with Collaborative Partnerships, therefore working outside core hours may sometimes be required
