Product Technical Lead Location: Milton Keynes Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Technical Lead to spearhead the development and execution of our strategy in the payments domain.
In this pivotal role, you will leverage deep expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure) and a nuanced understanding of the payments ecosystem to drive innovation, ensure alignment with business goals, and optimise product delivery.
You'll be instrumental in coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable payment solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Cloud & Technical Leadership Serve as the primary technical lead, with hands-on expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure , to guide product development within cloud-based environments.
Keep up to date with emerging payment technologies, regulatory trends, and cloud capabilities to inform product roadmaps and feature prioritisation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to define, scope, and execute product requirements, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
User-Centric Product Design Advocate for a user-first approach by integrating customer feedback, market trends, and competitor insights to shape a product experience that meets and exceeds user needs.
Roadmap & Feature Prioritisation Own the development and continuous refinement of the product roadmap, balancing business impact, customer demand, and technical feasibility for both short- and long-term initiatives.
Cloud Infrastructure Optimization Lead initiatives for optimizing product performance, reliability, and scalability on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure , in collaboration with engineering teams.
  Vendor & Partner Management Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with product requirements and maintaining high standards without the need to build an internal development team.
Performance & Risk Management Establish KPIs for product success, conduct regular performance assessments, and develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in product development.
Stakeholder Communication Regularly present product updates, strategy, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment across the organization.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management, specifically within the payments or financial technology sector.
Technical Proficiency: Cloud Platforms: Demonstrated expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure with a track record of delivering cloud-based solutions.
Payments Technology: Solid understanding of payment systems, APIs, security standards, and mobile operating environments (iOS and Android).
Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Agile Methodology: Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools, ensuring an adaptable approach to product development.
