Product Development Manager OA are currently working with a growing organisation within the roofing solutions industry and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Product Development Manager.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (40 hour week)
Up to £43,000 DOE

Product Development Manager - Key Responsibilities: Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap by collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, conducting market research, and translating requirements into manufacturable product designs that align with market trends and optimize production processes. Leverage in-depth technical knowledge of market opportunities, political and governmental impacts, and lead internal testing and prototyping, including CAD work, to ensure product development aligns with market and regulatory requirements. Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, while collaborating on project timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Collaborate across teams to drive products from R&D to market, ensuring quality, success, and seamless communication. Gather and analyse customer feedback to inform product development, ensuring products meet customer needs, drive satisfaction, and perform effectively in the market. Product Development Manager - Key Skills and Experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in AutoCAD 2D Experience in Inventor will be a distinct advantage 3+ years product development/R&D experience. Project management skills Proven track record of successfully managing and launching products Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and project management principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of product lifecycle analysis Education and Qualifications: The candidate should have a range of GCSE / A Level results which show passes in English and Mathematics Bachelor's degree in business or engineering (Masters preferred).
