Product Designer (midweight) - 9 month FIXED TERM CONTRACT (employed, not day rate) Remote-first (UK) Annual salary + bonus and benefits Occasional meets with your team face to face Please note this is a fixed term contract (employed), not a day-rate contract We're looking for a Product Designer to join the dynamic Haven Product Design team.
Working for one of the UK's best-loved holiday brands, you will design great customer centric experiences across all of our digital platforms, across guest-facing interfaces and team member tools, working closely with your colleagues in Digital.
This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
With an ambitious digital roadmap to support an equally ambitious growth plan, you will be right at the heart of delighting our customers.
You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role, as long as you're willing to travel occasionally to meet up with your team and stakeholders.
Your Opportunity: To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by: - Supporting the design efforts for a Haven product squad, conceptualising and designing user interfaces across platforms and devices inspired by user needs - Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and prototypes - Researching, brainstorming and translating conceptual ideas into engaging, visually rich design solutions - Leading product managers through the visual design element of the product lifecyle, from exploration to final design What we'd like you to bring: - Proven design experience for large brands, in-house, agency or freelance - Understanding of user-centred design principles and practices, - Some experience with user research and observation, writing research reports and presenting these to stakeholders - Proficiency in the use of Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Marvel (optional) - Broad knowledge and skills in user experience, user interface, visual design and a solid understanding of available technologies.
