About the opportunity: In this highly collaborative and multi faceted role, you will partner with key stakeholders on engagement strategy, HR policies and procedures, and assist remote and office based employees with HR related queries whilst providing strategic insight, operational HR support and expertise in all areas of the employee life cycle; ultimately creating the right people environment to meet business needs in a fast growing and transforming context.
What you'll do: HR Generalist Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns across a geographical area.
Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Ensure documentation and record keeping is made to the highest standard and data integrity is maintained for all HRIS technologies utilised Benefits & Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs, assist in salary reviews and ensure compensation practices are fair and competitive.
Support the implementation and management of performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
Oversee the absence management process ensuring policy is followed and issues are highlighted and dealt with promptly.
Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and development programs to support employee growth and skill enhancement.
HRBP Responsibilities: Work closely with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, providing strategic HR support and solutions Partner with hiring managers and Recruitment Specialist to support the recruitment process Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and employee retention programs.
Change Management: lead and support change initiatives, helping teams navigate organisational changes smoothly and effectively.
Drive initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture, increase employee engagement, and improve job satisfaction.
Collaborate with leaders to anticipate future workforce needs, develop staffing strategies, and ensure the organisation has the right talent to achieve its goals.
Analyse data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership, helping to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reporting on Business Unit people subjects and other projects you are working on.

The following attributes and competencies will be the key factors of your ability to thrive in this newly created role and set you up for success: Previous HR Generalist and / or HRBP experience is a must!
Ability to build rapport quickly with a strong level of influence and negotiation skills Used to working on a multi-site basis (national) as well as engaging effectively with a remote workforce Enjoy a fast paced, high growth environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously (proven project management experience would be great) Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and priorities (experience of change and transformation projects, notably TUPE or acquisitions is a big plus!)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
A true hands-on approach, high level of employee engagement as well as the ability to successful monitor the "pulse" of employees Proven ability to be proactive as well as work closely as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.
A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date on HR trends and best practices.
