Product Demonstrator

I am recruiting for a client who are looking for a Demonstrations Engineer for a Machine Tool company based in the Midlands.
The role will be demonstrating to customers how the machines work and is solely based at their technical centre in the Midlands.
Your responsibilities in this role would be...
Delivery of the Turnkey Engineering package that accompanies the Machine Tool sale.
This will typically include planning of Machining Strategy, CNC programming, attaining First Article Inspection and completing all Acceptance Criteria.
You will also be responsible for Customer Training with respect to Machine Operation and Programming.
Requirements Minimum of 4 years experience within a Machine Tool environment as a Production Engineer or a Machine Tool Setter/Operator.
Knowledge of both Fanuc & Okuma based Controls would be advantageous, although not essential.
Exposure to CAM packages for NC program generation and Machine Simulation would be beneficial such as Hypermill and Gibbscam and a willingness to embrace new technology is paramount.
Experience with both CNC milling and CNC turning machines is essential.
The salary on offer is circa £44,000 per year.
