Fabdec Group, a leader in stainless steel manufacturing of thermal exchange systems and technical spares, is seeking a talented and highly motivated Procurement Manager to join our team.

About the Role: In this newly created role, you will report to the Head of Commercial and lead procurement across Fabdec Group, focusing on technical spares, consumables, and general procurement needs.
You will be responsible for driving procurement strategies, policies, and procedures, and implementing frameworks that ensure the effective sourcing of goods and services across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and govern procurement strategies that align with the company's long-term business goals.
Manage the procurement of technical spares and consumables, along with broader procurement requirements for the manufacturing business.
Lead, inspire, and manage a small team to ensure best practices in procurement.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on driving value and ensuring quality.
Negotiate contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality and timeliness.
Ensure the procurement team operates within agreed frameworks, optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement with the company's commercial and operational strategies.
About You: We're looking for someone who understands the importance of procurement and is commercially savvy, with excellent negotiation skills and the drive to lead continuous improvement.
You'll be an enthusiastic self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, ready to take ownership of procurement and deliver results that make a tangible impact.
What We Need: Proven experience in procurement, ideally at a Senior Buyer, Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager level.
Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering cost savings and value improvements.
Experience in manufacturing or a technical environment is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
The ability to implement and manage procurement policies and processes.
A superb communicator with a high standard of professionalism and a drive to succeed.
