Procurement Assistant

12-month contract Remote working £19 - £21.50 p/h 37.5 hrs per week Our client are a leading engineering and design consultancy that specialise in projects across the infrastructure sector.
They currently require the services of a Procurement Assistant to join their procurement team to support in-country procurement members, other in-country stakeholders, and GSSC procurement in the P2P processes.  Role accountabilities: • Assist in the resolution of complex/language-dependent issues • Support to Accounts Payable for PO-related invoicing issues • Support for internal users Supplier/PR/PO • Change Management/support for suppliers transitioning to Purchase Orders • Builds relationships through multiple stakeholder channels to provide support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and peers to leverage knowledge, resources and ensure consistency, and share best practices.
• Working with equivalents in Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing holds and other issues • Working with equivalents in the DtR team to resolve purchasing holds and other issues • Support Direct and Indirect Procurement to maintain purchasing documents (controls) Key Shared Accountabilities: • Assisting with the CWK process.
• Monitoring of DtR Mailbox for notifications of new CWKs and extensions.
• Updating of CWK listing.
