Job Description SRM are preparing for the commencement of a major programme of construction works in Port Talbot, South Wales.
The works to be undertaken will involve heavy construction/ civil engineering works across a variety of industrial work fronts over the next 3 to 4 years, commencing initially with a series of enabling works ahead of the main programme of works commencing Q3: 2025.
/n If you are an administrator, ideally with procurement experience we have a great opportunity for you to join our team in Port Talbot to work on a project with a value of over £200m.

/n/n The Procurement Administrator role: /n As a Procurement Administrator you will be working closely with the project delivery team reporting into the Procurement Manager based on the project where you will be responsible for day-to-day administration tasks for the team including but not limited to: /n /n - Contract compiling tender information and issuing to the supply chain /n - Tracking the document flow from and to the supply chain /n - Chasing up the Supply Chain on tender responses or queries, submission deadlines /n - Compiling final reports and QA checking /n - Issuing meeting minutes /n - Compilation of the Works Contract Orders in readiness for issuing /n /n/n Your profile: /n /n - Must be a Team Player /n - Must be hands on and with a "can do attitude." /n - IT Proficient preferably used to working with a Common Data Environment although not essential as training will be given for the right candidate /n - Proficiency in both Word and Excel is a must /n - Previous experience in Civil Engineering or Construction environment preferred but not essential /n - Previous procurement experience preferred but not essential /n - Strong communication skills at all levels /n - Highly organised, be able to prioritise and work to strict deadlines /n /n/n Rewards /n We're ready to invest in you and your future, and offer wide-ranging, performance-related progression opportunities.
