You will supervise the successful transfer of manufacturing processes from R&D to Manufacturing.
This is applied through the execution of equipment and process validation, risk assessments, Factory Acceptance Testing and protocol and report generation with a high-level of support.You will be responsible for optimising the performance of manufacturing systems.
By identifying and developing new processes for product manufacturing and implementing process controls, you will ensure the products are of a high quality and produced in a way that can be accurately replicated.
WHAT TO EXPECT Responsible for the delivery of Process Transfer projects to the required timelines.
Ensure team actions and deliverables are completed to the required due dates and project timelines Reports periodically to management on project progress and status Provides the support needed to complete equipment and process validation activities and training of manufacturing staff during the validation cycle Monitors daily operations of the Process Transfer department.
Assigns and determines the team workload and priorities.
Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
Oversees the development of manufacturing processes for transfer to Manufacturing Responsible for continuous improvement activities within the business relating to Production and Manufacturing Processes, including equipment and validation to ensure these are completed through change control activities.
Responsible for qualification and validation of manufacturing activities, scale up of production processes as the production demand dictates Represents Process Transfer team on one or more core teams Strong understanding of Quality / Regulatory requirements (such as ISO 13485) and consideration in project decisions.
Performs document review and approvals for the department Provides the main point of contact and participates on behalf of Process Transfer team during audits Responsible for training Validation Engineers and holding team meetings / briefings.
Operates effective performance management of the Process Transfer team, setting appropriate and business aligned goals, reviewing against expectations Provides guidance and development opportunities for team members Responsible for the engagement plan and execution for the Process Transfer team Contributes to department budget creation and ensures that department expenditure is within or below expectations Oversees ERP real time transactions Responsible for driving Value Improvement Projects WHAT WE EXPECT Bachelor's or master's degree with 4-8 years related experience.
Proficient in the knowledge of applicable Quality System Regulations and ISO-13485 quality requirements Presents with our Core Behaviours: Honesty, Trust, Integrity, Responsibility, Respect and Citizenship Personal time management skills as well as the ability to manage the time of the Process Transfer team effectively Must demonstrate leadership attributes Interpersonal skills, works collaboratively and builds working relationships Computer literate - knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel an advantage - to produce reports, analyse data etc.
