Private Funds Lawyer

Due to continued growth, our international firm client is recruiting an Associate with 2-4 years' experience to join the London team. You will have exposure to high quality work and the opportunity to develop your skills further, learning from direct experience, whilst being supported by Partners and senior Lawyers. The continued success of the team creates genuine opportunities for merit-based promotion.
The role will involve a mix of City and international work. As an integral part of the Financial Services team, you will provide advice to clients and colleagues and undertake or provide support on a wide variety of transactions. The private funds team's clients include major GPs and LPs. The broader Financial Services team also advises asset managers, depositaries, wealth managers, administrators, insurance companies, banking and other financial institutions and family offices.
As an integral part of the Financial Services team, you will have opportunities to be involved in a number of client relationships (in many cases having daily day to day contact) with opportunities for secondment. There will be a focus on establishing and supporting alternative investment funds, structured primarily as closed-end funds and limited partnerships, as well as advising on various contracts particular to the asset management industry and associated regulation.
