Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Harrogate, England, providing enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community.
This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives.
The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.
**This is an international assignment with additional compensation emoluments**What You Will DoThe Principal Systems Engineer provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition.Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine appropriate resolution.This position communicates with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices.Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively manage projects in this environment.A key purpose of this position is to manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8+ years of prior engineering experienceExperience with Systems installation, integration and test experience.Experience with Engineering technical abilities and project management skills.Experience with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor)Experience with Request For Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment experience.Active TS/SCI CI Poly transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
