This full-time role, starting in January 2025, is perfect for a skilled teacher passionate about guiding Year 5 students (ages 9-10) and helping them achieve their full potential.
SEN experience is a plus, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required!
About the Role As a Year 5 Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students aged 9-10.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues and parents to create a supportive, inclusive environment that helps all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), thrive.
Your work will be instrumental in fostering a love of learning and supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning styles, including those with SEN.
Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and provide positive role modelling.
Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.
What You'll Need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
Experience working with SEN students is desirable.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students aged 9-10.
A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching challenges.
Availability to start in January and work full-time.
