Job Title: Primary Teacher Location: Longdon Park School, Egginton, DE65 6GU Salary: £31,650 - £36,925 per annum dependent on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon/Tue/Thurs/Fri 8.00-16.00 & Wed 8.00-17.00 Contract: Permanent, Term time only As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to join our fantastic team at Longon Park School.
About the role This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupilswith varied and complex needs.
Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
When it comes to looking after our pupils, we never settle for second best.
We are looking for a Primary Teacher experienced in teaching a range of subjects and who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Educated to degree level and/or of Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupilto reach their potential Essential: QTS Degree Experience In Teaching Primary About us Longdon Park School opened in June 2015.
We are a co-educational day school catering for pupils aged 7 to 18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour primarily with a diagnosis of ASD.
We provide a therapeutic, supportive and inclusive learning environment where our young people learn to accept responsibility for their actions, make positive decisions and display pro-social behaviour.
We are committed to raising achievement and enabling pupils to recognise their potential and supporting them through a personalised, engaging curriculum.
Our priority is to develop the foundation knowledge and skills required to make a manageable and smooth transition to the next life stage.
Longdon Park is going through an exciting period of growth which is why this position is now available.
