Platform Engineer / Azure Devops

Platform Engineer – Microsoft Azure We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our Managed Service team, responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
You will support one of our key customers' applications and services, working closely with IT services, operational, and specialist teams to maintain a robust, scalable, and resilient cloud environment.
This role offers flexibility to work remotely, but there may be some travel to client sites or our offices in Newbury.
Implement and manage cloud technology strategies and environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
Manage and maintain containerized environments following DevOps models.
Design, build, and maintain cloud systems using Microsoft Azure technologies.
Develop implementation plans for SQL SaaS offerings.
Train and mentor IT team members on cloud-based practices and tools 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure.
~ Certifications: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert.
~ Hands-on experience with PowerShell, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
~ Proven experience in cloud security, high availability environments, and debugging multi-server services.
~ Background or knowledge in Linux.
