We are a primary special school dedicated to supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Many of our pupils also have additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism and ADHD.
Our work is varied and challenging, and as a trauma-informed organization, we provide extensive training and support to all staff.
Our team knows that no two days are the same, and each child brings their unique strengths and challenges.
We are looking to hire three experienced Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or 3) who can join our exceptional team to support the learning and development of pupils with a range of needs.
Ideal candidates will have: GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English & Maths Flexibility, care, hard work, and understanding A positive and cheerful attitude Commitment to full-time work Previous experience in supporting children with SEN/SEMH Solid knowledge/experience of SEN/SEMH (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Trauma, Attachment) An understanding of Trauma-Informed Practice and the ability to implement this approach daily The ability to understand potential barriers to learning and implement strategies to overcome them Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written Successful experience in managing challenging behaviours (advantageous)

The successful applicant must have a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
