The Pharmacy Department within Raigmore Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our aseptic services team.
The post holder will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician with the planning and delivery of high standard aseptic dispensing services.
You will also have the opportunity to further develop your role and be actively involved in various aspects of aseptic audit and project work as well as participating in Education and Training.
The department has an excellent team of friendly Pharmacy staff committed to service modernisation and to developing the role of pharmacy technicians and support staff.
We encourage our team to undertake further training and aim to support this as much as possible.
You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and able to demonstrate a high level of professional practice.
You will ideally have completed the Higher National Procedures for Aseptic Checking (PACT) course or be willing to undertake this with departmental support.
The post is based at Raigmore hospital and there will be a requirement to participate in departmental rotas for public holidays and occasional weekend working.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
