Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant (PA) and Office Manager to join our dynamic team at GB Banks London Headquarters.
This dual-function role is pivotal in supporting our executive and senior management team, enabling them to focus on strategic objectives while ensuring smooth office operations and fostering a positive work environment for all employees.
The successful candidate will have experience in supporting leaders and executives within the Financial Services sector, have strong communication and organisational skills, and be proficient in the use of MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook.
This is an in-person role that would require the successful candidate to work 5-days (Monday – Friday) from our London Office.
We'll reply on you to… Working as part of an Executive Office, collaborating with wider Executive Team and senior management team to ensure they are effective Proactively managing senior managers' schedules, diaries and inboxes ensuring events and communications are managed, prioritised and escalated in a timely manner.
Expense management Supporting senior management with their important weekly meetings whether that is with agenda, deck preparation, taking minutes or following up on actions.
Contributing and managing the team events including arranging day to day transport and accommodation, planning away days and socials Administrative support with projects Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining supplies and equipment, and ensuring the office is clean and well-organized Handling correspondence, providing administrative support, and ensuring effective communication protocols are in place Assist in planning office layout and infrastructure, and making changes to workstations Ensuring health and safety policies and procedures, including fire regulations are documented, updated and communicated Office inductions and orientation of new joiners Coordination of office and team social events What you'll bring / who you are… Good experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Experience of supporting leaders and executives in Financial Services Good understanding of the regulatory environment, and values and abilities consistent with the FCA conduct rules.
