Veterinary Surgeon Job Description Veterinary Surgeon Location: Blackpool Site-Based and Remote Options Available Salary: £47,523 to £62,543 (based on 40 hours per week and including allowances and supplements) Flexible Working: Options available regarding hours and shifts About the Role This practice is seeking a skilled and passionate veterinary surgeon for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on animal welfare.
The role includes: Providing high-quality veterinary care to a variety of pets Performing surgical procedures, examinations, and treatments Collaborating with a team of veterinarians and support staff Contributing to the mission of improving animal welfare About You A recognized veterinary degree Eligibility for Veterinary Surgeon registration in the UK (RCVS) Passion for animal welfare Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to relocate to the United Kingdom About the Hospital The hospital's veterinary teams have varied clinical interests, providing access to a broad range of knowledge and experience for case discussions and treatment planning.
The Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped, featuring: Separate dog and cat kennels In-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy Piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment The team size allows for flexibility with weekend rotas and out-of-hours work, including enhanced pay and stand-down time during the week for weekend shifts.
