People Partner Summary: Park Holidays UK, one of the largest holiday park operators in the UK with over 50 parks, is seeking a dedicated and experienced People Partner to support our dynamic People Team.
In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining smooth HR operations across our parks by offering expert guidance on employee relations, compliance, and engagement.
This role is ideal for a People Advisor or Manager looking to develop their skills and take a step towards business partnering.
You will work closely with our wider People Team to ensure the success of our parks and contribute to our positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: Provide professional People advice to park teams and head office colleagues managing concerns and providing advice on disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with company policies and UK employment laws.
Offer guidance to the People Services Team on employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and assist in preparing people-related reports and metrics for management review, ensuring our People data is up-to-date and reliable.
Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations and assist in the development and implementation of People policies and procedures.
Keep up with legislative changes and recommend necessary updates.
To assist and guide managers on the contents, interpretation and application of employment legislation, terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures ensuring consistency of approach and accuracy.
Promote a positive workplace culture by working closely with Operations, Sales, and other functional departments to enhance employee satisfaction.
Support initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
Assist with onboarding and induction activities for new colleagues, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company and understand company policies and expectations.
Requirements: CIPD qualification, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not essential.
Proven experience in a HR Team role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-demand business environment such as hospitality, retail, or leisure sectors.
Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations, with the ability to provide accurate advice and ensure legal compliance.
Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and best practices, particularly in employee relations, compliance, and engagement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Proficient in HRIS (preferably SAP Success Factors) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
A proactive, solution-oriented attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and offer sound advice on complex people issues.
