People & Culture Manager - Sme Creative

An SME agency in the creative and advertising space is hiring for a standalone People & Culture Manager role. Reporting into the MD, this is a true generalist role encompassing the full employee lifecycle for the UK team of approximately 40 people, from recruitment to offboarding. There is scope to implement and advance People & Culture initiatives and policies around DEI, L&D, etc. This also includes some office management, such as organizing monthly socials for the team and maintaining regular communications with suppliers.
The team is looking for someone with solid ER exposure, as well as experience handling payroll and other operational elements such as benefits, as this is a standalone role in the UK.
Relationship building is key within this role as it is a tight-knit team, and you'll be the first point of contact for everyone in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on 'all-rounder' who has demonstrated experience thriving in a creative agency environment or in a fast-paced team. You'll need to be a tenacious and resilient candidate, happy to muck in where needed and advocate for the UK team.
