RARE Restaurants (which is formed of Gaucho and M Restaurants) are looking for a People Advisor, ideally with restaurant or hospitality experience to join the company's amazing People team.
The People Advisor sits within the wider People Team, Supporting a section of Restaurants working alongside our Operations Managers / Directors to deliver 100% hospitality to our teams.
Working alongside the Talent and Learning & Development teams, the key focus for this role will include Employee Relations (coaching and supporting our Operational leaders), driving Employee Engagement through our Company Values and RARE culture, whilst assisting the Head of People and Operations Director with HR projects in our bid to be 'best in class'.

Shaping our workplace culture; #SUCCESS #PASSION #IMPACT #INTEGRITY #COMMUNITY #EMPATHY Tasks and Responsibilities: Provide administrative support for all HR related activities within your Restaurants Coordinating all People team Administration Updating with new hires and employment contracts where necessary.
Supporting and coaching operational leaders with the management of Employee Relations issues.
Minute taking during Disciplinary and Grievance hearings.
First point of contact for HR enquiries.
Understanding when to escalate serious HR concerns.
Providing employee reference responses.
Build effective working relationships with employees at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice.
Coaching managers to help develop their people management skills as required.
Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required.
Key advocate for our Benefits and Employee support per restaurant Assist with ad-hoc HR projects.
Role model the company values and drive employee engagement activities.
Assist the HOP to deliver the company's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy.
Work collaboratively with the Talent and L&D teams.
Provide cover for the People Advisor (with Head office Management responsibilities) during holidays and absences.
The successful candidate: Has a minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar Regional HR role, with previous exposure of managing an array of employee relations issues A comprehensive understanding of UK employment law Previous experience in coaching and role-modelling – integrity is key You are required to manage your own diary, adhere to our presentation requirements and show meticulous attention to detail You will have a can-do attitude, be a great team player and a natural completer finisher You are confident, engaging and a clear communicator Ability to take initiative and work autonomously without close supervision, possessing great interpersonal working skills.
