About the role Reporting into the Commercial People Partner and part of the People Partnering & Ops team, as People Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees, aligned with Immediate's company strategy, culture and values. If you're looking to come into a new role and make a real impact, then this will be perfect for you. As a People Advisor you will; Support the People Partner with our Commercial and Product & Tech business areas.
You will also have the opportunity to own your own smaller central client areas and develop your People Partnering skills. Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on employment law and manage ER issues effectively, pragmatically and in line with Immediate's policies and procedures.
Including but not limited to investigations, disciplinary meetings and redundancy consultations. Work with managers in managing any performance issues, including probation, informal and formal PIP's and disciplinary action as needed.
On-boarding and Off-boarding: Deliver the induction for new starters Own exit interviews for your business areas, escalating any issues as needed Support the People Administrator and People Analyst & Ops Advisor with process improvement, always looking at where we can improve, make efficiencies and streamline EDI: Work closely with the People Partnering and EDI team on new or existing initiatives like training, surveys, feedback sessions, and policies, aiming to drive real cultural change and foster a forward-thinking, inclusive workplace. Learning & Development: Work closely with the People Partnering and L&D team on development plans, succession planning, talent mapping and identifying training specific to the areas you support. Champion our coaching & development platform OpenBlend, ensuring high usage in the business areas you support. People Administration: Support the People Administrator with admin tasks as needed, including contracts, letters, payroll, benefits management and responding to emails to the HR inbox. People Partnering: Coach and provide feedback to your client groups to help achieve the business and team goals? Question and respectfully challenge key stakeholders to ensure a deep and thorough understanding of the root causes behind any people or business issues Requirements Proven experience working as People Advisor, in a fast paced, commercial environment Demonstrable experience in managing redundancy, performance and disciplinary processes Strong communication and influencing skills Empathetic and personable – able to build trust and strong relationships with managers and colleagues Proactive and a self-starter, who can identify and address issues before they escalate Knows the importance of process and policies, whilst also able to be flexible and pragmatic dependent on the situation Adaptable and comfortable working in the grey Benefits A relaxed working environment with regular socials including a summer festival Supportive well-being initiatives and benefits, talks & workshops, and Mental Health First aiders & Champions 25 days holiday plus a day for your birthday.
