In this 12 month fixed term contract role you'll help us to provide an efficient and professional pension and reward benefit administration service to employees and temporary workers in accordance with best practice and statutory rules.

What you'll be doing Owning an understanding of all Internal Procedures to provide stakeholders with a comprehensive knowledge of Pension and related benefit requirements.
To administer the GPP arrangements, payment of pension cash allowances and incapacity enhancement benefits, providing administration support for all employees, answering day to day queries and at all times ensuring compliance with Nationwide's data protection and confidentiality policies.
Processing of the Temporary Worker weekly payroll automatic enrolment and reconcile the weekly contributions for all Temporary Workers.
Responsible for the administration of the Annual Awards each year.
Producing 1 or 5-years anniversary digital certificates upon request.
Processing Reward Benefit reconciliations which involves performing VLOOKUP's Processing Additional Responsibility requests with support from the Policy team for complex cases.
Processing the automatic enrolment for permanent employees in the society adhering to the Government's automatic enrolment and re-enrolment requirements.
Responsible for uploading monthly or weekly pension contributions to the pension provider.
Responsible for creating new policies for new members and updating the pension provider of any leavers.
Liaising with the Propositions, Recognition & Benefits Team, pension provider and temporary workers payroll provider, as required, to ensure the pension administration processes are compliant with the Government's automatic enrolment and re-enrolment requirements.
Liaising with the Reward Services team, Policy team and Reward Gateway to support with any complex Reward Benefit queries.
About you Committed to learning Payroll and Pensions, with the inclination to build a strong understanding of relevant legislation and the regulatory regime.
Strong interpersonal skill set and ability to influence at all levels.
Clear thinker and communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Tact and diplomacy.
Strong organisational skills.
Competent on Microsoft Office with proficient Excel skills, experience leveraging in a work setting (able to perform a VLOOKUP).
