About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SAP ERP Finance Support Analyst to join the ERP team on a permanent basis within our IT Department.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Financial Processes and how the SAP Finance and Controlling modules support the execution and management of those processes.
You will be working closely with key business stakeholders and users to primarily support their business-as-usual operations within the ERP domain, as well as supporting continuous improvements and smaller projects.
Working collaboratively with developers and architects as part of the ERP Finance Product Team, you will help to develop the SAP platform and its integration within our systems landscape by providing clear insight into the trends and hotspots within the Incident, Problem and Change lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: As our SAP ERP Finance Support Analyst, your responsibilities will include: Partner with the Finance Team including end users by being their first point of contact in the business-as-usual operations arena.
Lead the incident, problem and change management process for the ERP Finance Product Team ensuring efficient and robust processes are in place to meet service level agreements.
Collaborate effectively with architects, functional consultants and colleagues of the ERP Team, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to provide excellent service.
Document configuration rationale and execute configuration of SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, and Financial Planning.
Perform Change Impact Assessments to ensure the appropriate action plans for data migration, testing and training are created and executed during projects.
Perform Functional Unit Testing, Integration testing and support acceptance testing as part of the continuous change/project lifecycle.
Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for users and support teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after implementation, providing timely and effective solutions.
Stay current with SAP advancements and updates, ensuring the organisation is leveraging the latest features and functionalities.
To be successful you will have: Relevant experience as a SAP ERP Finance Analyst in a similar role.
Good functional knowledge of SAP FICO modules and integration points into other Modules.
Good understanding of financial business processes and controlling principles.
Good experience of Service Delivery and ideally exposure to ITIL Service Management processes Familiarity with SAP security and GRC principles.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with end users.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
