Job summary The Deben Health Group Primary Care Network, (PCN), have an exciting opportunity for a GP to work within our PCN supporting our 4 PCN practices on a full or part-time basis.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and who will contribute to our provision of high quality, patient centred care.
We are particularly looking for a newly qualified GP who is within two years of the date of their certificate of completion of training (CCT), issued by the General Medical Council.
Main duties of the job Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence.
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
Providing counselling and health education.
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
About us The Deben Health Group PCN compromises four member practices, Wickham Market Medical Centre, The Peninsula Practice, Little St Johns Street Surgery and Framfield House Surgery with a joint patient population of 40,000 (approximately), each with its unique strengths and expertise.

Person Specification Experience Essential General practice trained.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, resourcefully and under pressure, without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
Able to work under pressure.
Qualifications Essential Fully qualified GP with GMC registration, within two years of the date of their certificate of completion of training (CCT), issued by the General Medical Council.
Annual appraisal and revalidation.
