Job Advertisement: Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) Location : Slough Contract Type : PartTime (3 Days per Week) Permanent Start Date : January 2025 Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team on a parttime permanent basis starting in January.
Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Collaborate with teachers parents and external agencies to create tailored support plans.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions.
Ensure compliance with SEN policies and maintain uptodate records.
Provide guidance and training for staff to support SEN students effectively.
Requirements : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it).
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in working with a diverse range of SEN needs.
