Paralegal Location: London Office-Based Reports To: General Counsel Employment Type: Full-time Essential before application: LPC - Distinction 1st or 2:1 Law Degree - including GDL Previous work experience About Our Client: Our client is a large, reputable international holding company with an extensive portfolio of entities across various industries.
They pride themselves on a collaborative and dynamic work culture and are seeking an experienced and driven Paralegal to join their London office.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and the in-house legal team.
Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements across multiple business units.
Conduct legal research, prepare case summaries, and maintain up-to-date legal databases.
Support due diligence processes, including document review and information collation for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to coordinate legal activities and ensure smooth transaction execution.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
Manage filing systems, maintain confidentiality, and provide general administrative assistance to the legal team.
Requirements: Law degree with a 1st or 2:1 classification.
Legal Practice Course (LPC) with Distinction or equivalent SQE qualification.
Prior experience as a paralegal, ideally within a corporate or commercial legal environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Must be London-based, as this role is office-based, and we are not currently considering candidates seeking remote work.
