AVK powers tomorrow's data.
Our Control Services division delivers turnkey solutions for electrical control systems, specialising in PLC and SCADA systems, with applications in data centres and other critical industries.
We ensure reliable, scalable, and safe power management systems through high-quality panel construction and technical expertise.  As a Panel Wireperson, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with AVK's standards and safety protocols.
You'll collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues, maintain high-quality control, and ensure timely delivery of panels for industrial and data centre projects.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are key for this role.  The production of control panels to AVK standard To follow AVK quality assurance procedures To follow RAMS when using powered equipment Ensure delivery of AVK panels on time and in accordance with the technical requirements of the control panel drawings To work in a clean and tidy manner and to have good house keeping To inform design engineers should and issues or problems be found with either equipment or design information Requirements Proven experience in control panel construction and wiring.  Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.  Experience with PLC control systems and SCADA software is advantageous.  Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.  Full UK driving licence.  Willingness to work independently and in a team setting.  Experience working under minimal supervision.  Benefits Private Health Insurance Performance Bonus 25 days annual leave + bank hols Birthday Off Pension Plan Hybrid working / Flexible working AVK|SEG does not discriminate on the race, colour, religion, sex, age, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits.
