Job Description
STARTING AUGUST 2025, we are looking for a fabulous couple team to help this owner run his new Oyster 675 from launch and commissioning for the first few years of ownership.
The yacht will be sailing in the next Oyster World Rally 2026 with the owner on full time and his family visiting for destination cruising en route.
Owning his own dayboat tour company, this owner knows boats extremely well but fully admits that his sailing knowledge needs some work.
He wants to learn and be involved with all aspects of running a sailing yacht so is looking for an enthusiastic and encouraging crew to work alongside him as a team.
The Captain will need to be Yachtmaster Ocean qualified, have solid ocean sailing experience, proven engineering skills on similar sized yachts and be happy to teach sailing.
The Mate/Cook will also be an experienced sailor and carry their Yachtmaster Offshore qualification.
Both candidates will be used to working together on sailing yachts, have a friendly, open characters and a desire for adventure.
