GP Partner/Salaried GP with view to Partnership Ravenswood Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP/GP partner to join their busy practice for up to 6 sessions per week.
We are happy to consider applications from newly qualified GPs.

Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group.
The role will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Main duties of the job Undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
About us Ravenswood Medical Practice is a large PMS Ipswich practice only 2 minutes from the A14 with easy access to London, Cambridge and Norwich, in very close proximity to Woodbridge/Framlingham area of Suffolk.

Our current clinical team comprises of 5 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs, 5 visiting clinicians/paramedics (who deal with the bulk of visit requests), 3 clinical pharmacists and a pharmacy technician and a large nursing team.

Person Specification Qualifications Fully qualified GP with GMC registration Be on the NHSE medical performers list Experience Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services.
Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date.
Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g.
prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.
Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
