Do you have a hobby or interest you'd love to share with others?
We are looking to recruit someone with lived experience to run a group.
This is a paid role you will be paid for the time you are running the group and for planning and setting it up What the group is all about is up to you.
If you have a passion that you would enjoy sharing with other people, we would love to talk to you.
Your group could involve either meeting up in person or be based online.
Where we have done this in other areas we have helped to set up a film club, a gaming night, a cycling social, a soup and chat and a public living room.
There are lots of possibilities.
Don't feel limited by these ideas, we love new suggestions.
Don't worry if you are not sure how it would all work, we can help with how to get things up and running.
If you have a personal assistant they are welcome to get involved.
The scope for this role to make a real difference to people's lives is huge.
Who knows maybe it will change your life.
There will be some support from Laura, the project lead to set the group up.
You will work together to create content to celebrate and promote the activity on social media.
Together the two of you will bring people together and see them thrive as their connections grow.
We are flexible about the hours you work, days, evenings or weekends.
You will be paid for the hours you work, up to 7 hours a week.
You can start with less hours and build up to 7 hours once your group gets going.
This is a home based role and you will need to live in South West Hertfordshire.

Social media experience preferred but not required.

We provide learning, support and care for more than 1,200 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism at locations across England and Wales.
