Senior Designer

Full-time position, Immediate Start, Studio Based
As a global textile leader with an extensive portfolio of international lifestyle brands, we are looking for an experienced textile designer to join our busy Hertfordshire team.

During the design process each designer plays a key role in the creative process as we focus on what really makes the design and product experience unique and outstanding.
We strive to understand each brands unique DNA and work collectively in a state-of-the-art studio.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with brands to design and develop ranges of bedlinen, curtains, cushions and various interior soft furnishings Producing concept and mood boards Working closely with mills on a technical level as part of the development process Colour matching and approving samples ahead of production Creating photography specs, liaising with photographers and overseeing photography shoots Presenting concepts and collections to the wider teams, the brands and customers Skills and requirements:
3+ years in a similar role AVA and Photoshop knowledge, separations and colouring Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple ongoing projects Strong communication skills: you must be confident to liaise with brands, suppliers and customers Experience of working with mills and a technical understanding of processes.
Excellent eye for colour Ability to work independently and as part of a team A professional and enthusiastic attitude and approach to projects Competitive salary
