My client is an organisation specialising as a subcontractor and provider to clients.
Based in Belfast, they are currently seeking an experienced Operations Director to join their team.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Working Hours: 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm With a salary of £70,000 per annum.
and 10% annual bonus Job Role: You will be responsible for leading and motivating operational and sales teams to deliver exceptional performance by setting clear objectives and targets, monitoring, and reviewing progress and supporting them in the delivery of their targets.
Essential Criteria: 5-7 years' experience at management level within manpower or a contracting environment in an M&E or construction company.
Recruitment.
Excellent people management skills, with the driving accountability and delivering results through people managing and performance.
Demonstrable experience of customer relationship management.
Good financial and business acumen with experience of managing budgets.
Strong commercial negotiation skills to include contract negotiations.
Experience of implementing compliance that aligns with industry regulations and standards.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Results orientated and target driven with the ability to problem solve.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to prioritise a busy workload while working under pressure.
Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Working to maximize efficiencies and operations in line with Key Performance and budget expectations.
Lead the ongoing development of the business, through developing recruitment and attraction strategies in line with business needs.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships to support delivery of client projects/requirements.
Create and present client presentations/bids/RFI's and proposals.
Prepare and implement plans for new projects in line with company objectives.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the business meets its objectives.
Acting as a senior point of contact for clients and playing an integral role in the retention and development of existing and new business.
Ensure compliance & contractual requirements are met (both internal and external), identify and highlight any gaps/risks and put appropriate measures in place to eliminate the same.
Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure the company has the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.
Conducting market research relating to new client acquisition, geographic growth and competitor analysis.
Other duties as required.
