IT Infrastructure Estate Manager (VP) - Belfast
We're seeking a highly motivated Tech project manager with excellent communication skills to help our Equities Prime & Futures Tech teams work in partnership with architecture teams to articulate strong designs that adhere to Citi principles. They will need to work with partnering financial and Infrastructure teams across Citi to expedite delivery and ensure all are informed, along the way. In addition to project delivery they will build an appreciation for their app footprints and work with dev team to optimize from performance and TCO (Total Cost of Operations) perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will include, but not limited to the following:
Provide general infra advisory and guidance to Equity and Prime tech teams
Act asline of business/stream point of contact for development leads
Liaise with architecture and Citi Technology Infrastructure unit to assist tech navigate the various infra systems
Provide regional input to infra BOW and assist with prioritization of same
Provide tech review for projects raised by dev for infrastructure and ensure right-sizing and suitable choice of technology – forwarding for sign-off
Display strong working relationship with technology teams, project management teams and architects/engineers and infrastructure administrators.
Focus on reducing TCO
Variousmulti-region/solutionproject Management: from requirements gathering to delivery oversight
Experience
Experience in Infrastructure management
Transferable background to financial services and banking industry
Experience in Capital Markets Technology, Equities & Prime Finance preferred
Experience in infrastructure/ Hardware/ Software/ Database/ Middleware stack
Strong knowledge of infrastructure project life cycle including migrations and vendor upgrades
Proven experience in client management / communication
Skills
Knowledge of industry standard tools and technologies.
Effective communication skills
Strong relationship builder, works as a partner with multiple stakeholders and business areas
A self-starter who can deliver well as part of a team
Problem solver
