As the project is completed we can continue to work with you by setting up your next project from our global network of leading engineering companies.Currently we're looking for an Overhead Line Design Engineer to support on Transmission projects within our Energy division on a 6-month contract basis, with fully remote working environment.The ideal candidate will:Have 10+ years experience as either an Overhead Line (OHL) design engineer, OHL project engineer, or similar roles within Transmission and Distribution (T&D).Experience working on projects up to 132KV.Ability to use PLS-CADD and/or PLS Tower.Ability to develop and manage OHL Deliverables across multiple projects.BEng or BSc in electrical, mechanical, civil or structural engineering.CEng or IEng registration or working towards registration.Provide up to 20 hours of work per week.Have a right to work in the UK.What you will do:Take the lead on multiple transmission Overhead Line projects and project deliverables including full route and tower design.Producing technical documents in line with industry standards.Support the development of design criteria - conductor selection - structure type - insulation coordination - lightning performance.Providing support and mentoring the rest of the team.Work fully remote.If you have the relevant capability and are interested in pursuing this assignment, please apply below.Learn more about Coalesce Management Consulting, our projects and the support we provide to our consultants at https://www.cmc-global.consulting/No terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of age or experience, and we confirm that we are happy to accept applications from persons of any age or experience for this role.
