Offshore Engineering Manager (Saudi Arabia)

Our esteemed client is seeking a visionary Offshore Engineering Manager to lead and oversee engineering operations for multiple high-profile projects in Saudi Arabia.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be the technical driving force behind the organization's engineering goals while working closely with project directors and international teams.
This leadership position requires someone with extensive offshore experience who can build, guide, and inspire a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring project excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and allocate engineering resources effectively to meet project demands and objectives.
Evaluate team capabilities and design training plans to develop technical expertise.
Drive compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients, project managers, and internal teams.
Collaborate with global engineering hubs to enhance knowledge-sharing and operational efficiency.
Lead recruitment, mentorship, and succession planning for the engineering department.
Manage budgets and licenses for engineering software.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize engineering estimates and project delivery.
Participate in proposal reviews, client presentations, and design evaluations.
Ensure lessons learned are captured and applied across projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience managing engineering teams in offshore oil and gas projects.
Expertise in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed design across both greenfield and brownfield projects.
Knowledge of fabrication and construction practices.
Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment while maintaining high safety standards.
Proficient in risk management, project planning, and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
At least 20 years of industry experience, with 15 years dedicated to offshore operations, including platforms, jack-up rigs, wellheads, and topside systems.
