Ocean Export Clerk

Right Now Group are working with a Freight Forwarder based in Slough looking to bring aboard a Multi-Modal Export Operator.
They are looking for an experienced Ocean Export operator with a keen interest in learning Air Exports.
Salary: £33,000-£34,000 Location: Slough Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm Responsibilities of a Multi-Modal Operative: Coordinate air and ocean freight shipments, ensuring smooth transportation and timely delivery of goods.
Book shipments with airlines, ocean carriers for both air and ocean freight exports.
Prepare all required documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and internal procedures.
Arrange collections with external parties and create bookings Provide quotations to customers and prospects Manage new bookings and receive pre-alerts Prepare customs entries via CDS Negotiate terms and rates with carriers, optimising routes and identifying cost-effective shipping solutions.
