This is a part time opportunity for 18.5 hours per week with flexibility on working pattern.

About the Role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Neighbourhood team covering North and South Harlow.
There will also be a commitment required to support the West Essex quadrant as a whole through your robust practice delivery, strong decision making and with a vision to promote people's independence and wellbeing utilising activity and engagement in occupation, through a strength-based approach.
As an Occupational Therapist you will carry out assessments of risk and deliver therapeutic interventions reached in line with legislative and organisational standards within the Care Act 2015 (e.g.
MCA/DoLs/CHC etc) and which build resilience and enable independent living for vulnerable adults.
Quality assuring interventions to ensure that vulnerable people are safeguarded in line with the Council's statutory obligations, working with colleagues across the council and in other statutory bodies to do so, balancing need with financial commitment, positive risk taking and close working with the community are key to this role.
