Are you an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity to grow and develop?
If so, join Victoria Gardens (3  days per week)   and  Crossley Place (2 days per week) services for adults with complex mental health.
You will be instrumental in promoting health and independence by delivering high quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, along with providing clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will be key in demonstrating highly specialist expertise and specialist occupational therapy skills in areas such as occupational engagement, environmental adaption, development and maintenance of skills needed for meaningful participation.
You will also have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.

Your responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist will include: Communicating effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, people who access services, carers/supporter/family members, stakeholders and agencies Providing compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff including support staff and assistants Ensuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placements Supporting the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff To be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways To be a Successful Occupational Therapist you will need: Occupational Therapy profession qualification Extensive and relevant post qualification clinical experience with (service type) who have complex needs Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches Demonstrates evidence highly effective clinical reasoning skills Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models Knowledge of how to work with (service type) individuals What you will get: Annual salary of  £27,581 - £38,500 The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (inc Bank Holidays) – plus your birthday off!

Where you will be working: Location : Victoria Road,   Huyton, Liverpool,   L36 5SA You will be working at V ictoria Gardens, a specialist rehabilitation for Service Users with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
You will support the service to equip service users with the skills required for community living and increased independence.
The service is a recovery based service and incorporate elements of the Good Lives Model, supported by individualised interventions.
We have a full multidisciplinary team (MDT) with Nursing, Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker support.

The service offers a positive alternative to conventional hospital settings working with the principles of least restrictive practice and positive behavioural care plans.
