Nursery Assistant Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester, North West England Job Type: Temp to perm, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.85+ Per day Job Duties: Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and programmes Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children Help with feeding, nappie-changes, and personal hygiene routines Monitor and engage in playtime and outdoor activities Assist in maintaining records and updating children's progress reports Collaborate with other staff members to plan and organise educational and recreational activities Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's development Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow nursery policies and procedures Experience: Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred Experience in assisting with child development activities and routines Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development principles and practises Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a nursery environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children Working Conditions: Work in a nursery setting with young children Full-time hours.
Physical stamina to supervise and engage in active play with children Adherence to health and safety guidelines, including proper hygiene practises All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
