Job Description An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area.
You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers \n \n This care home provides an environment where staff enables their residents to feel free to go about their daily lives.
They work with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia \n \n ** To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin** \n \n As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include: \n \n Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care \n You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills \n You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it's vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures \n Care plan development and assessments \n Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care \n \n \n The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: \n \n Previous Deputy Home Manager experience \n The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care \n Good working knowledge of CQC standards \n The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams \n Good clinical skills \n Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home \n \n \n The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £46,000 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working through days from 9am-5pm.
