The Programme is delivering a unified, real-time biometric service for government.
It aims to technically converge the existing biometric systems capabilities that are critical for Immigration, Borders, Law Enforcement and other government departments.
This matching capability is provided across three biometric modes: fingerprints, DNA and facial matching.
These services enable the UK to capture, authenticate, verify, search and match individuals' biometrics and forensics for the purposes of crime scene investigation, visa applications, passport applications, border control, counter-terrorism and international cooperation Your new role You will be an experienced Network Architect, who currently holds current SC clearance (you will also be put through NPPV3 clearance whilst your SC clearance is being transferred).
You will have experience with implementation, architecture, SolarWinds, Firewalls, Nexus switches, F5 devices, LBs/Firewalls, ASR routers and NTP sources.
You will be designing Network and related architectures based on use cases, requirements and\or RFI's from clients, Providing technical leadership within the organisation and for the client when required, Evaluating technology choices to best suit any proposed solution, Promoting best practise, standardisation, security, policies, and automation.
