Job Description: Responsibility Network Architect – Design Authority Network Design: Lead the design and architecture of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN Firewall, Zscaler (unified network) and cloud networks, to meet business requirements and objectives.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging network technologies, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in network design and performance.
Standards and Best Practices: Define and enforce network architecture standards, best practices, and design principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and security across the network environment.
Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive network solutions that integrate with existing systems, applications, and business processes, aligning with organizational goals and requirements.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to network design and architecture, such as security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and compliance issues, to ensure the integrity and reliability of network services.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and select network hardware, software, and service providers, managing vendor relationships and contracts to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Change Management: Develop and implement change management processes for network design and architecture, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and do not disrupt business operations.
Documentation and Governance: Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, configurations, and architecture decisions, and establish governance processes to review and approve design changes.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineering teams, mentoring junior architects and engineers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing
