National Reefer Sea Logistics Manager Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom | Frachttransport und Kundenservice | Vollzeit | JR2410_0040 Kuehne + Nagel aims to identify and deliver service solutions, resulting in the achievement of the company's financial plans through customer satisfaction.

Leading Customer facing Operations and collaboration with Sales is crucial to stay ahead of the game.
Your Role As part of the UK Sea Logistics Leadership Team, you will be responsible for development and ownership of UK Reefer Sea Logistics strategy in diverse industries.
Be the subject matter expert on all aspects of Reefer and Healthcare Sea Logistics encompassing all elements of market knowledge and expertise.
To promote and develop UK Reefer with key overseas partners through structured and constant interaction, including regular domestic and limited overseas travel to respective territories.
You will target on overall development of the reefer products in terms of both Volume (TEU) and Profit (GP) development; in line with national targets.
Your Responsibilities You will be responsible to follow up and development of sales leads for strategic/global new business opportunities.
Management of the Reefer CCL within the Reefer structure.
Ownership of the P&L volume and profitability of the products.
Oversee the gathering and distribution of relevant market intelligence to key stakeholders within Sea Logistics - Maintain and develop overseas partner relationships with shared pipeline development.
Operations and Sales: Ensure operational excellence across the products through a cohesive alignment between customer requirements and supplier sourcing.
On boarding and maintenance of suppliers when required to support key client requirements including robust carrier selection and management program.
Regular review of market sector strategy, new business opportunities and value to creation.
Work closely with Global Sea Logistics Reefer Management to ensure agreed targets are achieved.
Ensure key client requirements are effective & profitable, are aligned to the operational department and service KPI's for both customer and supplier, supported by regular key client KPI updates and QBR's.
Co-ordination and maintenance of sales and buying conditions for key clients.
Key Client profitability analysis and improvement thereof through finding innovative solutions.
Proactive response to key client service requirements and issues (Inter)national travel to support the business development and build relationships with overseas partners for mutual benefit.
Development of 10 Direct Reports to prepare for future career opportunities.
Your Skills and Experiences Proven experience within Sea Logistics in combination with strong Business and commercial acumen is present Excellent organisational skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and strong leadership skills Strong Influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to influence at senior levels and building strong relationships and collaborating with the team aside from networking skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities fulfil critical tasks in time and keep to deadlines, in combination with excellent communication skills - fluent in English, written and spoken Resilience to manage change, embrace new technologies and quickly understand and execute new processes Ability to network and develop relationships; Sound financial understanding and commercial awareness Able to travel and car driver license obtained Good Reasons to Join If you would like to become a valued member of our team, we will make sure that you're rewarded for your commitment and expertise.
