People Business Partner (12 Month Ftc)

Description We have a new opportunity for an experienced People Business Partner to join us for a 12 month fixed term contract.
As the People Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR practices with business objectives to drive organisational success.
You will work closely with senior leaders, managers, and employees to provide expert HR guidance and deliver solutions in areas such as talent management, employee relations, performance management, organisational development, and workforce planning.
The role holder will be proactive, people-focused, and possess a strong ability to navigate complex HR challenges whilst fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities Key duties: Strategic Partnership:   Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and align HR Strategies to meet business needs    Employee Relations:   Act as trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actions while maintaining a fair and compliant approach Be a point of escalation for employee relations processes, working close with the Senior People Advisor    Performance Management:   Guide the performance review process, providing support on goal setting, coaching, and career development for employees  Guide managers through the end-to-end performance management process, including talent calibrations  Lead quarterly People Capability & Performance Reviews, with department heads to ensure the People strategy continues to align and deliver the desired business outcomes   Talent Management :  Succession Planning, support the process of collating data and providing analysis, identifying areas of risk.
Coach managers to create plans for their areas of responsibility to build capability and strengthen talent bench strength     Organisation Development:   Drive initiatives related to organisational change, development, and workforce planning to support growth and operational efficiency  Lead and support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and manage organisational change, partnering with the People team and colleagues across the business.
Change Forum: lead and facilitate the quarterly meeting of our change forum, supporting initiatives linked to this as and when required    Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI):   Champion diversity and inclusion efforts, creating initiatives that foster an inclusive and equitable work environment    Project Management:   Lead assigned projects, ensuring change initiatives are delivered across the business in line with the HR Strategy.
Supporting teams and leaders to navigate organisational transitions effectively  Partner with the People team SME's in delivery of key projects   Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications, Experience & Skills Data and systems savvy  Ability to interpret data to make informed decisions  In-depth understanding of UK employment law   Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages for a diverse audience Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, coupled with ability to problem-solve and think critically.
